This is your chance to own a piece of history. In 1880 William Ebsworth Hill established the firm W.E. Hill & Sons on Wardour Street in London, England. In 1880 the firm moved to 38 New Bond Street, and 10 years after that settled at 140 New Bond Street. The Hill name was associated with fine instruments for well over a hundred years before the shop was opened and has employed many of England’s best instrument, bow, and casemakers. While it shows the wear of a hundred years of use, this case is an excellent example of the quality work done by the Hill workshop. Comes with a matching blanket.
