Paganini Picture Violin Bow

German-made from the workshop of Albert Schuster; the finest craftsmen in the workshop would have produced this high-quality round-section bow with full silver mount. We believe it is fashioned from ironwood or blackwood. The ebony frog has a mother-of-pearl slide and a silver ring around the picture eye, and a silver button completes the bow. SARTORY A PARIS (indicating a model rather than the maker) is stamped on the player side of the stick, and the frog is stamped with a lyre containing the letters AS.
