This violin is a German trade instrument made after WWII. The violin is in very good condition and has been set up here at the shop. New pegs, bridge, sound post, tail piece, and the chin rest. The antiquing on the varnish is indicative of the makers and time period. This instrument has had wear patterns placed on it to make it look older than it is.
The sound is not as bright as a new violin and tonally even throughout all four strings. A perfect instrument for a fiddler and/or the player wanting to move out of a beginner rental violin.
