Handmade viola using choice Bosnian maple for the back, ribs, and scroll and Russian spruce for the top. The hand-applied oil varnish has been slightly and artistically antiqued. Sonically, the instrument has a deep resonating bottom and a sweet treble tone. The interior blocks and linings are carved extremely well, resulting in a solidly built instrument that is very light in the hand.
