Handmade violin by Joseph McDevitt in Reading, PA 2018. Highly flamed maple back, straight medium-width grain spruce top, evenly applied orange/brown varnish. The instrument is finished with rosewood fittings, even for the end button. Then chinrest is ebony. A very fine handmade violin for the discerning player.
