Jay Haide à l';ancienne cello is handmade in the Italian tradition. The cello features a two-piece highly flamed maple back with matching ribs, neck and scroll. The two-piece spruce top displays a fine-to-narrow-width grain. Fitted with ebony pegs and a German Wittner tailpiece, this instrument is quite striking because of its finished look. This cello has a very powerful, focused sound and is an excellent instrument for the intermediate and advanced player.
