Two piece maple back and two piece spruce top. This instrument features the characteristic Maggini f-holes and double lines of top and back purfling The orange-brown oil varnish shows a nice patina. Fitted in ebony with Helicore strings.
This Maggini model viola recreates the dark, rich tone of the Old Brescian Masters. The quality of antiquing gives it a hundred year old look.
