Jay Haide a l’ancienne 15 3/4″ Viola

Jay Haide à l’ancienne violas are handmade in the Italian tradition. This Stradivari pattern viola features a two piece maple back and two piece spruce top. The orange-brown oil varnish shows a nice patina. Fitted in ebony with Helicore strings with a Larsen A.

These instruments are quite striking because of their finished looks. The quality of antiquing gives them a hundred year old look. These violas are excellent instruments for the more intermediate and advanced players.
