Handmade in Baiersdorf, German this violin bow was made by Horst Schicker, circa 1974. The pernambuco is a seasoned dark color that is not normally seen. The bow is of octagonal section, sterling silver mount in a Parisian eye ebony frog. The end-screw also has a three-piece button. The bow is finished off with a imitation whalebone winding with a leather thumb.
