This violin bow is branded Emile Dupree on the player side and FRANCE on the stick behind the ebony frog. Dupree bows were actually made in the W. Seifert violin shop Bubenreuth, Germany and sold with the French name on the stick. The bow is pernambuco specie, round in section, and mounted in nickel silver. The bow is fully lined and features traditional silver winding and a leather thumb grip. The bow has been fully restored in our workshop and is in very good condition.
