Emile Dupree Cello Bow – German Mid-20th Century – CURRENTLY OUT ON TRIAL –
$795.00
We have a cello bow branded Emile Dupree on the player side and “FRANCE” on the bottom flat of the stick behind the frog. Dupree bows were made in the W. Seifert Shop in Bubenreuth, Germany and sold with the French name. This cello bow is an octagonal-section pernambuco specie stick that has beautiful color and is a choice piece of wood. The frog is mounted in nickel silver and is fully lined. The silver winding and leather are new to the bow. We also carved a new tip for the stick. The ebony frog has mother-of-pearl for the slide and the Parisian eyes. The stick is firm and easy to control. This will make a great playing stick for an intermediate player.
Weight fully haired 79.1 grams.
