This pernambuco specie viola bow was handmade by Creone Silva of Brazil. It is round in section and features a sterling silver mount and imitation whalebone winding. The ebony frog has a mother-of-pearl slide and Parisian eyes. The bow is finished with a lizard leather thumb grip, a casein tip, and a three-piece silver and ebony adjuster with mother-of-pearl insets in the ebony.
