If you contact J.R. Judd Violins, LLC for a purchase, inquiry or trial of an item, we keep your name, phone number and/or email address and in some instances your shipping/billing address on file. This data is important in order to follow up on orders, communications, questions, purchases and other music related interactions. It is necessary in order to serve our amazing customers with high quality service.
Information we Keep on File if you Make a Purchase or are Part of our Rental Program:
If you become a customer of J.R. Judd Violins, LLC by purchasing a good or service, or signing up in our rental program, we keep on file your name, shipping and billing address, and an incomplete record of your debit/credit card used for purchase. We do this in order to better serve customers and for accounting and insurance purposes.
Information we Keep on File for Trials:
If you do a trial with us we must have and retain your address and will take a copy of your driver’s license, and keep on file credit/debit card information. The billing/shipping address is used for shipping purposes and our retaining your address(s) and driver’s license is necessary for insurance and to keep records about where the trial items (instruments, bows, etc.) are. Upon completion of a trial the driver’s license copy and the credit card information you provided is destroyed.
