This handmade baroque violin bow is made from snakewood. It is a round-section bow; the frog end of the stick is fluted. The bow is finished with a snakewood frog that matches the bow and a snakewood adjuster that is somewhat darker. This Baroque violin bow is 9-10 grams less in weight than a typical modern day violin bow. A great stick for playing Bach, Vivaldi and Mozart.
