The label says “Master Italian Violin Maker” but we believe this to be a German-made trade instrument from the 1920's – 1930's. Regardless of its provenance, this is a fine instrument for the advancing player looking to move into an intermediate-level instrument with European heritage. It has a bold voice without being brash, an even, round sound, and ample projection. It's a lucky player that acquires this instrument at this price.
