Geissenhof – Fully Carved Cello, set up with German Perfection Pegs

This fully carved Strad pattern cello was made by Peter Hue in Beijing, China in 2016 for J.R. Judd Violins. All of the hand-carved fittings are fitted in our shop: pegs, sound post, ebony tail piece, and carbon fiber end pin. The instrument has a two-piece highly flamed maple back with matching ribs and spruce table with varying width grain. The varnish is an amber orange-brown and is consistent throughout the entire cello.

This instrument has a lush, warm sound on the bottom and a not-so-bright sound on top. An outstanding fully carved cello for the price.
